The Operation Management of the Aktio-Preveza Sub sea Tunnel informs you that since 12/12/2003 TUV CERT Certification Body for QM-Systems of RWTUV Systems GmbHereby certifies in accordance with TUV CERT procedure that J/V TEO S.A. – AKTOR S.A. Management, Operation and Maintenance of Aktio – Preveza Undersea Tunnel/HELLAS has established and applies a quality system for :

• Management of tunnels and Highways
• Operation and Maintenance of E/M and automation systems for tolling installations
• Operation and Maintenance of E/M systems for Highway tunnels
• Design of products relevant of Highway users (tolling tickets, tolling cards).

An audit was performed, Report No. 2.5-2361/2003. Proof has been furnished that the requirements according to ISO 9001:2000/EN ISO 9001:2000 are fulfilled

BICYCLES PASS THROUGH THE TUNNEL

The Operation Management of The Preveza- Aktio Crossing Tunnel informs anyone who is interested in bicycle pass through the tunnel, the following:

• Any Tourist Agency that organizes bicycle tours in tourist groups and wish to pass through the tunnel has first to come into contact with the Operation Management (Tunnel’s Control Room, tel. 26820 61449 / 26820 61069). These kinds of passes are only taking place following a scenario on specific time and days using J/V’s special vehicles.
• The company faces all the isolated cases of cyclist tourists who wish to pass through the tunnel in the same way, as mentioned above.

In this way the Operation Management of the tunnel contributes to the tourist activity in the area and at the same time protects the cyclists and the rest of the tunnel users.
