The Control Room, gives us the ability of operating and supervising all the electromechanical equipment of the tunnel, through the SCADA system.All the main signals and alarms are displayed at the same time on the SCADA system and on the Mimic Panel (Indication Panel). |

FUNS - The Tunnel Ventilation is automatically achieved by 14 pairs of full reversible jet-funs, controlled by CO / VIS (Carbon Monoxide and Visibility) sensors, which are measuring the quality of the air into the tunnel, in relation to the direction and the velocity of the wind outside and inside the tunnel. The fan’s operation can also be achieved manually from the Control Room This operation can be indicated at the same time on the SCADA system and on the Mimic Panel. |

LIGHTING - The lighting of the tunnel is automatically adjusted in relation to the day light level through photo cameras in the Aktio – Preveza Entrances. The lighting has 7 levels of adjustment. This adjustment is taking place in both threshold and transient light zones, total length ≈300m from each entrance. Any change on the lighting level is displayed at the same time on the SCADA system and on the Mimic Panel. |

TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM - The Traffic Control System is composed of, Vehicle Overheight Detector : if a vehicle is higher than 4,50m., pass the height detector an alarm signal is produced and an indication is displayed on the SCADA system and on the Mimic Panel. Traffic Lights : We have the ability to operate the traffic lights from the Control Room in order to control the traffic flow. The traffic lights switch to red automatically (no entrance) after a fire alarm in the tunnel. Traffic Supervision : The Traffic supervision is achieved through a system of inductive loops and the signals that produced and indicated on the SCADA system are, instant speed, vehicle’s stoppage on a loop, reverse movement, exceeding speed, traffic flow rate. |

Full function system keyboard used for system control, programming and pan/tilt/zoom operation. Variable Message Signs. Loudspeakers for message announcement to the drivers, in each zone separately (16 zones) or in every zone at the same time. Telephoning system for internal communication. Emergency Telephoning System. Fire alarm control panel for buildings. Fire alarm control panel for the tunnel. Main Radio Transmission Unit with Receiving and Transmitting (R/T) channels, for communication inside and outside the tunnel between the Control Room and the Maintenance team. |
